Since it first opened its warehouse doors, Metropolitan’s focus has been on distributing the best garage door products on the market. When Mario Urbano purchased the business in 1990, he saw this innovative opportunity through a different lens: one from the heart. He knew he wasn’t just taking over a distribution company, he was adopting a large family. He began by making sure he knew every driver by name when they picked up their garage door orders, starting a trend in the Metropolitan warehouse that still stands strong today.
Over the years, this personal approach has grown Metropolitan into the leading supplier in Southwestern Ontario. Dealers keep coming back for the relationships they’ve come to cherish and for the reliability of the same great quality product promised from the Metropolitan name.
